Star Wars Holiday Gift Guide

In honor of Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out on December 18, I got inspired to create a gift guide post for the Jedi in your life. I'm also inspired because I know Cecilio is a huge fan, and as soon as the tickets started selling, he bought the IMAX tickets for us. I have only watched the first movie with him, Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope, and I need to catch up on all the other ones so that I can understand the storyline come December 18.

Not sure what to get your friend, relative or significant other, but know they are huge fan of the series? Look no further than this guide!

1. Luke Frywalker Mr. Potato Head by Hasbro: Ok, so this isn't the most functional and it is mostly decoration, but you have to admit this is super cute and fans of all ages and genders would most definitely admire this. This makes a great addition to one's home and comes with 6 different outfits and accessories, including a green lightsaber. It only makes sense to have the characters come as Mr. Potato Head since Star Wars is now owned by Disney.

2. Chewbacca Costume Hoodie: If I was a super hardcore fan the way Cecilio is, I would most definitely want this. It has been much colder than usual here in Sacramento so I feel that this would serve me well and keep me warm during this blustery weather. Lots of people who own this jackets have received many compliments and questions on where to find this hoodie. Now you can just click on the link and buy it for yourself or for your loved one :)

3. Home Death Star Bluetooth Speaker: Wanna play some music for your next party, but don't want to get the same ol' boring speakers? Impress your friends with this cool Death Star Bluetooth Speaker! Just connect wirelessly through your phone, iPad, etc. and you're good to go!

4. Darth Vader Figural Mug: May the Force (caffeine) Be With You throughout the day as you sip your coffee in this cool ceramic mug shaped as Darth Vader's head. It looks to me that comes with a cover so the heat doesn't escape, keeping your java nice and hot.

5. R2-D2 Measuring Cup Set: Make cooking more fun using measuring cups that are comprised R2-D2's parts. Assemble them all together makes up his whole body. It comes with 4 measuring cups (1 cup, 1/2 cup–the dome, 1/3 cup, and 1/4 cup) and its arms are detachable tea/table-spoons (1/4 tsp, 1/3 tsp, 1 tsp, 1/3 tbsp, and only the 1 tbsp is a part of the dome). So it's functional and decorative! Win-win!

6. Jelly Belly Ultra Gift Box: Honestly, this would be the item I personally would want here the most. I absolutely love Jelly Belly (and candy in general), and sure anyone with a sweet tooth would appreciate it, Star Wars fan or not. It just so happens that Darth Vader is on the box with a stripe of the Star Wars logo (and patterns in the background) along with the Jelly Belly logo, and the inside box is gold. It has 20 different flavors such as Buttered Popcorn, Sparkling Blueberry, Cotton Candy and Watermelon. The cool thing is that the jelly beans have a metallic or glittering look to give it a space feel, and there is a menu inside on how to combine flavors.

7. San Francisco 49ers Star Wars Storm Trooper Hugger with Throw Blanket: Another winter comfort item, cuddle with the Stormtrooper and cozy up under a fireplace with this San Francisco 49ers throw, with patterns of Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper. Not a 49ers fan? (To my international readers, football is pretty big here...and not soccer, which I know is also called football in other countries) There's also throws that come in different NFL and college teams...only thing is that there is no Oakland Raiders throw, sorry Cecilio!

Do you have a Star Wars fan (unfortunately, there's no name for themselves unlike the Trekkies and Potterheads) in your life?
