Carly Rae Jepsen Live in Manila!

I got a pair of VIP tickets for Carly Rae Jepsen Live in Manila thanks to SUN Cellular. I first watched Carly Rae perform live back in 2013 during the American Idol finals in Hollywood and I thought she was great! :D

Honestly speaking I haven't been to Araneta Coliseum (now Smart Araneta Coliseum) in years. I didn't know what to expect anymore.

This is the second concert I've watched this year (and believe me that is quite a record already especially as I am not really a concert goer hahahaha), the first one was the super extravaganza I treated myself and hubby to, Katy Perry. I hated the front act and I don't know who she is, all I remember is she looked unsavory so I didn't bother taking photos of her. I just waited for Carly Rae to come to the stage lol.

Carly Rae Jepsen Live in Manila is good old-fashioned singing and performing, not so much on production numbers. In fact she didn't have any costume change and the set remained static except for videos showing in the background during a few of her songs. Read more »
